Well, the first week of teaching at Channing is over ... one week down and one to go ... and you know what? I survived.

I can't wait for this summer!

Clover passed away this morning ... and for those of you who do not know who Clover is, or was, she was my Pug. She was given to me eight years ago by an elderly lady who showed and raised pugs. Clover was a retiered champion and I really wanted a pug and so she gave her to me (she had 13 pugs and needed to down size)

Clover was my pal ... my puppy ... yeah I didn't pay for her vet bills or food ... but she was still mine. In middle and high school she would wait by the door for me to come home from school ... she barked at every bus until mine finally dropped me off. She and I went to obediance lessons .. and though ashma sometimes got in the way ... she did an excellent job and graduated with flying colors. Every night she slept on my pillow ... making her little grunts in my ear ... she is the reason why I requier my husband to be a snorer. Yeah she licked non stop ... and nusseled in everything in attempts to scratch her wrinkles ... but I  loved her ... kinda crazy that one can love a dog so much ...

A couple years ago we found out that her spine was growing spurs out of it and ever since then she has been going down hill. However, it looked like things were getting better ... but I guess, well, obviously, things were not ... and now she is gone ... no more snorting or licking ... no more barking at the buses ... no more hair all over my clothes.

so now that I am crying ... I must go and wipe my eyes ...

To the world of bad tippers ... regardless of social and financial status:

THERE IS NO POINT IN GIVING A LESS THAN 5 DOLLAR TIP!

I do not care if the bill is only 5 dollars the tip should still be 5 dollars. If the bill is 20 dollars and up then the tip raises to 6 or 7 dollars. It is not the survers fault that the food is cheap and or it is not their fault that you are cheap. SO DO NOT PUNISH THEM! If they are giving bad service, and the resturaunt is full then put two and two together and understand that quite possibly you are not the only person that server is serving ... if you fail to understand the above instructions then let me simplifiy this for you ... the gas prices, um yeah, a 3 dollar tip on 15 (which you might think is good being that it is 20%) will get me jack! Let's be honest people ... one does not serve for their health.
